Allan Patterson

Race Car Coordinator

Allen went to his first drag race in 1958 and he ws hooked. He raced in the 1st NHRA drag race in Great Bend, KS. He worked on race cars in his garage in the 60's and 70s, then quit his  job and opening Patterson Racing in 1979. He won the Winternationals in Super Sport driving a 1966 Chevy II. Allan's experience and knowledge is invaluable to the Patterson Team. He is hands on every step of the way.

Jamie Tanksley

Pit Crew Chief

Jamie's background is in auto mechanics. He currently works at Tanksley Automotive in Denham Springs, LA. His family was very involved in drag racing. He began driving in the ET Bracket, followed by Super Stock, then Comp. He ran pro Stock with Steve Kent. He was a Patterson Racing customer and came to value their expertise and dedication to the sport. Joining the Patterson crew has been a good fit. Jaime is still racing cars, and his son is following in the family tradition as a Jr. Dragster racer.

Doug Marshall

Pit Crew Maintenance and Transport

Doug has had a passion for classic Mopar racers and Street Rods since high school. Buying, selling and restoring classics is more than a hobby. He worked for Patterson Racing in the 90's and has been involved with their race team ever since. He is a co-driver for transport, does general maintenance on the cars, and is the crew's short-order cook at the track. Doug loves to share his knowledge with visitors in the pits, explaining new technology and the history of the Patterson team.
